The sophomore album from Rick Ross, "Trilla" was the only top 10 debut in it's week to post an improvement on the first-week sales of its predecessor. "Trilla" (Slip-N-Slide/Def Jam), the second No. 1 for the Miami rapper, sold 198,000 copies in the week ended Sunday, according to Nielsen Soundscan data.
His first disc, "Port of Miami" sold 187,000 in its debut week in 2006. Trilla sold 198,375 copies in its first week, beating Snoop Dogg's Ego Trippin' and Fat Joe's The Elephant in the Room in album sales that first week. In its second week, the album went down two spots to number three, selling 90,344 copies, bringing the total to 289,300 in 2 weeks.
