THAT EARTHQUAKE WAS A 8.9 ON THE SCALE... ONE OF THE BIGGEST EARTHQUAKES IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD.
THE EARTHQUAKE CAUSED A WAVE 180 FT. HIGH.... THAT WAVE TRAVELLED AT THE SPEED OF A JET AND FLOODED OUT 7 COUNTRIES AND KILLED OVER 44,000 PEOPLE
INDIA, SRI LANKA, ETHIOPIA, INDONESIA ARE JUST SOME OF THE COUNTRIES AFFECTED BY THIS...THAT WAVE TOOK OUT 7 COUNTRIES!!
IT IS THE BIGGEST DISASTER IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD... BIGGER THAN 9/11 BIGGER THAN VIETNAM....NOTHING THAT HAS OCCURRED IN THE PAST CAN COMPARE TO WHAT HAPPENED THIS WEEK IN ASIA.

What we need to do is pray for these people the ones that are now gone and the ones left behind. Like Ralph said this is the biggest destruction mother nature has made ever!!! There are no words for the amount of grief and pain thousands of people out there are dealing with right now. All of those people that died had friends and family. People watched their children and their parents get sucked away before their eyes. There are dead bodies lying all over the streets. This is bigger than life and there is nothing we can really do except pray. I for one am deeply saddened by this event and am mourning in my own way for all of these poor lives that were so viciously taken. I cannot grasp the reasoning behind this enormous devastation. It really doesn't make much sense to me how something like this happened. But pray, just pray.

I saw a story recently about a huge mass of land thats about to fall into the ocean at any time off the coast of africa(i think it was africa) and when it does, the entire east coast of the US is gonna get rocked by a tsunami not unlike this one. If you think it can't happen to you, think again.
